Ideas behind the event: This event was created as an idea I had evolving around the wonderful Aldergate Acadamy (if you don't know what Aldergate it, check it out, it's pretty cool!), but basically not alot of HARPG shows are just focused on younger riders and competitors. And with the creation and success of Aldergate Accadamy, why not have more shows evolving around youger HARPG riders and their steeds. As I already knew this was going to be a huge project, I wanted to stick with one dicipline to save my self some fraction of stress. So JRGT is focused around Show Jumping, possibly one of the most common and favorited english diciplines in HARPG. With the base idea down I also took some insiration from the Dutch-Youngster-Cup (another one to check out!). I really loved the idea of multiple locations and a tour based show, and it's been pulled off so well! Combining this with the junor riders aspect, the Junior Riders Global Tour was born.
